7 p.m. Sunday: Biden and Harris will virtually tour 24/7 COVID-19 vaccination site in Arizona on Monday
The virtual tour of State Farm Stadium in Glendale will take place on Monday, mid-afternoon Eastern Time, White House officials said Sunday.
On the tour, the president and vice president will learn more about the efforts at state and local levels to vaccinate Arizonans, as well as survey the implementation of federal vaccination efforts at sites like State Farm Stadium, the White House said.
Arizona Department of Health Services Director Dr. Cara Christ has said the State Farm site is replicable as a model for other areas of the state and the country. The stadium site includes areas of the parking lot divided into sections for various functions, including patient check-in, patient appointment number verification, data verification, well being and discharge and a separate area to set

Additional Doses Pave The Way For 21,000 New Appointments Over 2 Weeks In February
PHOENIX The Arizona Department of Health Services is opening up registration for 21,000 more appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine starting tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. This is part of the state’s ongoing work to speed up the pace of vaccine distribution. These additional appointments will be available to prioritized Arizonans at the new state-run vaccination site at Arizona State University’s Phoenix Municipal Stadium.
These 21,000 appointments are now available thanks to vaccine supply identified because of Governor Ducey’s Executive Order last week. Appointments will be available from Friday, Feb. 5 through Thursday, Feb. 18, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Those who receive their first vaccinations at State Farm Stadium or Phoenix Municipal Stadium will have a guaranteed appointment for second doses at the same vaccination site.
