A group of Chippewa Secondary School students raised $4,475 to support the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC).
The month-long initiative was led by Chippewa students Andrea Forster, Emmanuel Nkebemiso, Muhhammad Ali Hakim and Jayda Phillipson.

The grade 11 and 12 full International Baccalaureate (IB) students not only raised money, but also provided “valuable information to the entire student body on positive mental health strategies and how to access supports in the school and within the community,” according to a media release issued by Chippewa.
