A famous verse about love from the Bible goes, “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” This is perhaps the most apt summary of the Keerthi Pandian-starring survival thriller, Anbirkiniyal. Just like love, Anbu (Keerthi) too checks all these boxes. This ‘ love’ connect of the Gokul-directorial, which is more evident when we think of the Tamil version, “Anbu sagalathaiyum thaangum.,” doesn’t end with the name of the lead.
The girl herself is an epitome of love, and Anbirkiniyal is filled with characters willing to go to any extent for love. This Tamil version of Helen is more of a ‘kudumba padam’ (family film) than the original because it stars the real-life father-daughter duo of Arun Pandian and Keerthi. Actor and producer Arun Pandian who took a break from acting, has recently reprised Lal s role in the Tamil remake of
Helen, which also features his daughter Keerthi Pandian in Anna Ben s role.
The latest is that Arun Pandian has also agreed to play an important role in Atharvaa s next with Sam Anton of
100 and
Darling fame.
Sources say that Arun Pandian will be seen playing Atharvaa s dad in the film. The entire shoot will be wrapped up in Hyderabad. Ghibran is composing the music for the film, Ruben will take care of the cuts, and Krishnan Vasant will be cranking the camera.

Krishna, 31, the main accused in the beheading of history-sheeter K. Veera alias Veerangan, was allegedly killed in a shootout with the police at Kumudiyankuppam, near Panruti, on Wednesday morning.
The “encounter in self-defence” took place in the Pudupettai police station limits.
Cuddalore Superintendent of Police M. Sree Abhinav said the police had tracked five of the 10 accused, including Krishna, within a few hours of the beheading. The arrested were identified as Arun Pandian, 27, Sudhakar, 23, Ramanan, 24 and Rajasekhar, 23.
