The latest data published on the Government website GOV.UK shows how many cases have been recorded in the seven days up to January 22 – the latest data available. The figures are available on the interactive map which breaks down infections into areas with a population of around 7,200 called Super Middle Output Areas (MSOAs). For each MSOA, the map shows the number of cases in the past week, increases or decreases compared to the week before and the rate of cases per 100,000 people. THE areas with the lowest infection rates of coronavirus in Test Valley have been revealed. The overall rate for the borough still remains high, but cases have been decreasing since the week ending on January 13. According to a map on the government coronavirus dashboard, in the week to January 20, when the latest figures were available, Andover London Road and East Anton had the highest number of cases in the borough with 101 and a weekly rolling rate of 595.3 cases per 100,000 people. The Wiltshire areas, excluding Swindon, with the lowest infection rates of coronavirus have been revealed. The overall rate for the Wiltshire Council area continues to remain high, the county s public health director warned earlier this week, though cases have stopped rising.
