Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 Kicks Off This Weekend
Awesome Games Done Quick kicks off on January 3 and runs through January 10. It features tons of great games like Hades, Final Fantasy 7, and much more.
This weekend, Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 is kicking off. It’ll be a week-long extravaganza of speedrunning, full of classic titles and raising money for a great cause. All donations raised during the event go to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Last year, the event raised $3.16 million over the course of the event. Hopefully, they can match or surpass that total again. Regardless, they’re sure to put on a good show.
As 2020 comes to a close, we’re feeling a bit reflective here at Shacknews. It’s been a wild year, to say the least. Though there’s been so much bad, there’s also been a lot of positive takeaways. In a year where most of us were confined to our homes, forced to socially distance, we turned to video games as a retreat. It’s time to look back at our favorite moments in gaming this year.
