Petrofac secures PDO contracts worth $300m in Oman
MUSCAT, February 7, 2021 Petrofac, a leading provider of oilfield services to the international oil and gas industry has been awarded two contracts, together worth around $300 million through Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). The first is a direct engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for PDO’s Marmul Main Production Station (MMPS) - Gas Compression project. The scope of work for the 30-month, lump-sum turnkey contract includes engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up and initial operational support. Located at Marmul in the South of Oman, approximately 800 km from Muscat, the purpose of the new facility is to eliminate permanent flaring and manage associated gas. The work includes gas recovery and booster compressors, gas sweetening, dehydration and other units, utility systems and modification of existing facilities.

(Alliance News) - Petrofac Ltd on Thursday said it has secured two petroleum development contracts in Oman through Petroleum Development Oman, which together are worth around USD300 million.
Petroleum Development Oman is an oil & gas exploration & production company in Oman.
The oilfield services company based in Jersey said the first is a direct engineering, procurement, and construction contract for the Petroleum Development Oman s Marmul main production station gas compression project, located in the south of Oman.
The scope of work for the 30-month, lump-sum contract includes engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up and initial operational support, the company said.
