CLEVELAND, Ohio - Tuesday marked the anniversary of the confirmation of the first three cases of the coronavirus in Ohio, launching a year like none other in modern times - sending children home from school, closing restaurants and other businesses, and a mounting death toll that now exceeds 16,000.
Every corner of the state, geographically and economically, was affected. Schools were closed, many were thrown out of work, others turned their homes into their offices, and routines were upended.
