Share The lawmaker representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and Chairman, House Committee on Science Research Institutes, Hon. Musliudeen Olaide Akinremi has stated that while politicians must find ways to assist their constituents in order to bring them out of poverty, giving motorcycles, clippers and grinding machines as empowerment is not the way to go about it. Akinremi, who made this disclosure after a town hall meeting with his constituents where over 250 people from his constituency who were beneficiaries of his free vocational skills graduated, insisted that the best way to allow constituents feel the impact of their representatives is to equip them with vocational training and skills which will make them financially independent beyond the tenure of the representative.
