Adoptable Animal of the Week: Meet Frank the Cat
It s time for our weekly adoptable animal of the week, and this week we see ourselves promoting a cat that has been at the shelter for 6 going on 7 years, and it s time we got Frank into a home of his own. Frank is a cat that has been at the Mower County Humane Society since 2014.
Frank, is a cat on the shy side, which is one of the reasons that he is probably still at the Mower County Humane Society. Just because he is a little shy doesn t mean that with some patience and time Frank won t warm up to being inside your home, and offering up some great companionship.

Adoptable Animal of the Week: Meet Wallace the Cat
It s that time of the week where we feature another adoptable animal of the week. This week we go with another feline, this one is rather striking in the looks department as Wallace is quite furry and it looks like he even has a lions mane , which is pretty awesome.

Wallace was rescued from Austin s Animal Control in July after no one came forward to claim him. According to our friend and volunteer Michaela Tews, Wallace is an affectionate cat, that likes to play and give hugs . Due to Wallace liking to play and give and receive hugs he would do better in a home with older children who would understand that he doesn t mean anyone any harm, he just plays a little rougher than other cats.
Adoptable Animal Of The Week: Meet Archer The Dog
Good Morning and welcome back to our weekly posting about available adoptable animals of the week. This week we are featuring Archer the dog, who by all accounts is great with people, but he would prefer to be in a home without young children.
Archer is a 7-year-old Akita/Pitbull mix that was an owner surrender to the Mower County Humane Society. According to volunteers at the Mower County Humane Society Archer is a pretty easygoing guy who is content to chill out with his person. He likes to chase an occasional toy, take a walk here and there, and get his belly rubbed.
