MUSCLE SHOALS & PHIL CAMPBELL– Eight students from Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC) were among the 53 students in the state to be awarded a $3,600 scholarship to study in automotive manufacturing programs at Alabama’s community colleges.
The scholarships are a result of the partnership between the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association and the Alabama Community College System. The two organizations are working together to help fill more than 10,000 automotive manufacturing jobs in Alabama within two years.
The following students have been awarded scholarships to pursue a technical education certificate or associate degree at NW-SCC:

The coronavirus pandemic that shut down the nation in mid-March erupted about two weeks after U.S. Rep. Bradley Byrne’s hopes for winning one of the state’s two Senate seats were dashed during the March 3 GOP primary.
