BURLINGTON, N.C. Burlington police are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl.
Police said Jackelin Gutierrez was reported missing by her mom last Friday just before midnight. She was last seen around 5 p.m. at her home in Burlington. She is 5’6” with black hair and brown eyes. Investigators said she could be staying with various friends throughout the area.

BURLINGTON, N.C. Burlington police are investigating a deadly shooting at the Traveler s Rest Mobile Home Park. Police said they responded just after 11 p.m. Sunday and found a 19-year-old man dead in the road.
A second victim was found with gunshot wounds in a car nearby and taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition, according to a release.
Investigators have not released the names of the victims or information about possible suspects.
Two people have been arrested after a human trafficking investigation in Burlington.Police say on Jan. 2, officers were conducting an investigation into a missing juvenile. After finding the juvenile, officers learned additional details that revealed the juvenile had legally immigrated to the United States and was staying with relatives. BURLINGTON, N.C. Burlington police say two people were critically injured in a shooting late Monday night.
Officers responded to a shooting call at the Tucker Street Apartments on Center Avenue around 11:45 p.m. Monday.
First responders found 20-year-old Charles Dominique King from Burlington and 18-year-old Kyon Marquzes Herbin from Roxboro, in the parking lot.
Police say the two had been shot and both were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
