The Food and Drug Administration gave emergency use approval to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine last Friday, and the first batches of the vaccine rolled out earlier this week.
The vaccine is said to be 95% effective, experts said.

The first shipment of the coronavirus vaccine arrived in Anchorage overnight on Sunday (12-13-20). State officials say it’s a turning point in the fight against the pandemic.
The state’s top medical team took questions from the media during a teleconference on Monday (12-14-20).

Montgomery: A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit challenging the state’s mandatory face mask mandate, which opponents claimed is unconstitutional.
