New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced $20.4 million in grant awards have been given to municipalities and nonprofit organizations in all regions of New York State through several programs administered by New York State Homes and Community Renewal.
The 58 grants aim to assist low- and moderate-income homeowners to make repairs to their homes or replace damaged manufactured homes.
Several nonprofit organizations and municipalities received the grants from HCR’s Office of Community Renewal through a number of state and federally funded programs which targeted to create and preserve much needed affordable housing, as well as improve and revitalize neighborhoods and grow local economies.
