Law enforcement agencies slated for submitting substandard reports in Parliament

Cape Town - Parliamentarians told the country’s top law enforcement agencies that they did not want fancy presentations on the work they do, but a demonstration of the progress from their previous reports.
This emerged when three law enforcement agencies came under criticism from the MPs over the report they provided to the justice and correctional services portfolio committee.
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU), National Prosecuting Authority and Hawks were reporting on investigations into the Master’s Office, Office of the State Attorney and Covid-19 cases.

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WTXL) â A mother and daughter in Pensacola are accused of rigging a high school homecoming court election by accessing accounts without authorization, authorities said Monday.
Laura Rose Carroll, 50, was arrested Monday and booked into the Escambia County Jail with a bond of $8,500, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) said in a news release. Her 17-year-old daughter was taken into custody and transferred to the Escambia Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
