After four consecutive nights occupying the Barnes Center at The Arch with #NotAgainSU, KeKe Blanton was exhausted.
She returned to her dorm in DellPlain Hall expecting to go right to bed. Instead, Blanton’s friends in her LGBTQ+ Living Learning Community welcomed her back, checked in to see how she was doing and told her how excited they were to see her.

Former Escondido City Councilwoman Olga Diaz, who opted not to run for re-election last year after serving 12 years in office, has accepted an executive position at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.
Her new title will be vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion and student affairs, and she’ll begin work on June 14.
The move allows Diaz to build on her work at Palomar College, where for the past five and a half years she has served as director of student success and equity. Previously, she worked as director of employment services at Interfaith Community Services in North County and as a research analyst at Santa Clara University. She also owned and operated a coffeehouse in downtown Escondido.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Thursday is Holocaust Remembrance Day, observed around the world. Never before has SFA had an official remembrance event. Change will come tomorrow.
Jewish representation at SFA, and for that matter all of Nacogdoches, is minimal. That may be changing thanks to SFA Hillel, a student group that builds connections to Jewish journeys.
