Tommy “Tiny” Lister manager says he died after experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
The ‘Friday’ actor’s manager, Cindy Cowan, said he started feeling sick about a week ago.

News broke earlier this week that actor Thomas Lister Jr. died at the age of 62 and now his manager is opening up about the actor’s health and said he was allegedly experiencing COVID-19 symptoms at the time of his death. Lister’s manager, Cindy Cowan, spoke to CNN and shared that the
Friday actor started feeling sick about a week ago.
Cowan shared that his symptoms “got really bad, really quick” and that he had trouble breathing and felt very weak. “It literally went so fast,” she shared. The manager said the actor was scheduled to have gone to the set for a new movie last weekend but he called to cancel because he was feeling too weak and couldn’t breathe. “Tiny doesn’t miss movies; he took it very seriously,” she said.

Tommy “Tiny” Lister died on Dec. 10 after being found unresponsive at his California home. His final interview was on Dec. 4 interview with
Brandon Jay. Lister wore a mask and struggled to speak and continuously cleared his throat.
“I’m taking that vaccine. I’m taking it,” Lister said. “I’ve got work to do especially for the kingdom of Jesus Christ.”
A voice in the background asked if it was best to wait for others to take the vaccine first before Lister tried it.
He responded, “Obama, Bush, and Clinton are taking it together to show everybody. So, that’s a wrap. Three presidents.”

Though no official cause of death has been confirmed, COVID-19 is being blamed for the heartbreaking loss of former pro-wrestling star and actor Thomas “Zeus” Lister II (aka Tiny Lister).
Lister (pictured) was found unresponsive in his home in Los Angeles, California on Thursday evening (December 10), according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The bureau released a public statement after deputies determined that Lister was indeed deceased.
“Mr. Lister’s death appears to be of natural causes but will ultimately be determined by the Office of Medical Examiner-Coroner. The death is still under investigation,” reads the statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
