About the organization
The University of Missouri seeks a coordinator to provide sustainability programming and education to students. From managing student organizations and providing leadership conferences to running the country’s largest alternative break program and experiential education programs, the Office of Student Engagement provides a wide range of programming to students. This position manages a number of programs for students while also serving as the primary staff role for education and student projects around sustainability and environmentalism.

Construction on the new Student Center and dining facility will be completed June 15, 2022. Western Michigan University students will officially be able to use the building in August of 2022.
The student center is part of WMUâs plan to re-imagine the southern portion of main campus by 2024. The building was originally planned to open in fall 2021, but construction was delayed in May 2020 due to COVID-19.Â
Chris Pyzik, project manager for Facilities Management, said the student centerâs structure is fully complete and they are currently enclosing the exterior with roofing and glass. He added they are now also installing internal work into the building.
Fall 2021
South Dakota Mines is planning a return to normal operations for the Fall 2021 semester. This includes in-person classes, a full athletics schedule, student activities, and the traditional homecoming celebration. We know you’re looking forward to this. We are too!Â

West Texas A&M University makes updates to spirit program

Officials with West Texas A&M University announced Monday the establishment of a University Spirit Program, bringing together all of the university s spirit organizations and initiatives, including the WT Spirit Squad as well as university traditions like Maroon Platoon and Bucky the Mascot.
According to a news release from the university, the University Spirit program will be under the Student Enrollment, Engagement and Success Division, housed within its Office of Student Engagement and Leadership.
The WT Spirit Squad will consist of 24 student athletes with dance or cheer skills, engaging the crowd with cheers and chants, while providing entertainment at halftime and breaks.
FHSU, City of Hays celebrate 2021 Arbor Day

The City of Hays and Fort Hays State University will celebrate Arbor Day 2021 on Thursday, April 22 at noon on the FHSU Quad.
“Arbor Day is a time for people to come together and better our community by planting a tree and providing children from Wilson Elementary’s second grade class the opportunity to learn more about Arbor Day, said Teresa L. Clounch, chair of the FHSU Tree Campus Committee. After a year off, we look forward to gathering on the FHSU Quad, west of Picken Hall, for this year s event.
