MSP Seek Public’s Assistance In Death Investigation On I-70 In Howard County

(WOODBINE, MD) – Maryland State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation into the circumstances surrounding a suspicious death that occurred following a traffic crash early this morning on I-70 in Howard County.
The deceased is identified as Nicholas Davey, 29, of Ellicott City, Maryland. Davey reportedly crashed his red Ford Mustang into the rear of a Toyota Highlander before both vehicles left the roadway, coming to rest on the left shoulder of the highway.
A preliminary investigation indicates shortly before 5:30 a.m. today, Maryland State Police at the Waterloo Barrack received a call reporting a two-vehicle crash on westbound I-70 near Rt. 94.
Maryland State Police Investigating Fatal Crash In Prince George’s County

(BELTSVILLE, MD) – Maryland State Police are investigating a crash in which one person was killed and another was injured late Tuesday evening in Prince George’s County.
At about 10:45 p.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police College Park Barrack responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the area of southbound U.S. Route 1 and Ritz Way in Beltsville, Maryland. According to a preliminary investigation, a 2008 Honda Civic was traveling south on Route 1 when the vehicle for unknown reasons traveled off the right shoulder and struck a telephone pole and billboard support pole before coming to rest.

Maryland State Police Arrest Man Suspected Of Stealing Ambulance In Dorchester County

(CAMBRIDGE, MD) – Maryland State Police arrested a man who is suspected of stealing an ambulance Friday evening in Dorchester County.
Shortly before 8:10 p.m. on Friday, Maryland State Police were contacted regarding a Dorchester County Emergency Medical Services ambulance that was stolen from outside the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Dorchester.
According to a preliminary investigation, troopers located the ambulance traveling west on Route 50 in Cambridge, Maryland. The suspect, later identified as Augustus Redditt, 52, of Baltimore, Maryland, activated the ambulance’s emergency equipment in an attempt to move vehicles out of the way.
Maryland State Police Investigating Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash In Prince George’s County

(LANHAM, MD) – Maryland State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in which one person was killed late Tuesday evening in Prince George’s County.
Shortly after 11 p.m., troopers from the Maryland State Police College Park Barrack responded to a crash at eastbound US Route 50, west of MD Route 704 (Martin Luther King Jr. Highway) in Lanham, Maryland. According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of a black 2005 Ford E-350 was traveling east on US Route 50. For unknown reasons, the Ford left the travel portion of the road, continued onto the slow shoulder and struck the rear of a 2000 Freightliner tractor-trailer that was parked at that location.
