Pedestrian from Schuylerville killed in early Sunday Saratoga Springs crash, police say | The Daily Gazette SECTIONS Lindsey Irish, 38, died at the scene, police said. The incident happened just before 1 a.m. Sunday on Route 9, just north of the state park’s East/West Road, police said. Police responded there for a report of a vehicle that had struck a pedestrian. The fire department also responded and provided emergency medical treatment to Irish, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The investigation showed that Irish had been walking southbound along the east side of Route 9 just prior to the accident, police said.
