Suspects who stole San Carlos man s identity arrested By Astrid Casimire article SAN CARLOS, Calif. - Deputies from the San Mateo County Sheriff s Office arrested two suspects Tuesday in connection with an identity theft case involving over $200,000 of fraudulent purchases. Patrol deputies and detectives from the Sheriff s Office Crime Suppression Unit executed a search warrant at a fraudulently rented apartment in San Jose and arrested 32-year-old Jamie Wise. That same day, deputies arrested 37-year-old San Jose resident Alexander Rivas at a different location in San Jose. Upon searching the apartment and two fraudulently purchased vehicles, deputies found an identity theft lab with electronics, victim IDs and a stash of stolen mail from multiple Bay Area counties.

Hendersonville man, woman charged with meth trafficking offenses after vehicle stop by Sheriff s Office From staff reports On Wednesday, Feb. 3, members of the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit conducted a saturated patrol of a known-high crime area in the Clear Creek community, the Sheriff s Office said in a news release. Officers saw a vehicle on the roadway with a fictitious license plate. When they stopped the vehicle, officers saw drug paraphernalia and narcotics inside, the release states.  A search of the vehicle revealed numerous individual bags of methamphetamine, digital scales and $5,822 in cash, according to the release.

Craven County Sheriff s two New Bern men arrested felony charges

Two men from New Bern were arrested by Craven County sheriff s during a traffic stop recently and are accused of selling a variety of different drugs.  Deputies with the Craven County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) pulled over a car on U.S. 17 near Neal Boulevard in Vanceboro. The two men, Rhysante Ellis, 24, and Tyric McCarter, 23 were detained.  During the search of the car, deputies found a stolen gun, approximately 69.17 grams of MDMA, a half ounce of marijuana, 3.3 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, according to a news release from the CCSO.   Ellis, of Wahoo Drive, is charged with felony trafficking MDMA, felony possession with intent to sell/deliver MDMA, felony possession with intent sell/deliver cocaine, felony possession with intent sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession firearm by a felon, felony possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
