PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. - Deputies are searching for the gunman who shot into another vehicle while driving along a busy Paulding County roadway last Thursday.
Paulding County deputies said the two vehicles were driving east on Macland Road around 5:50 p.m. on April 22. The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office released photos of the vehicles involved.
Some type of dispute occurred between the two and shots were fired from one vehicle into the other near the intersection of Ida Lane.

A Louisiana man stabbed and killed a robber with a pair of scissors while defending his family from a violent attack by suspected gang members, officials have said.
The homeowner was forced to use deadly force to protect his family and himself from armed intruders, during the armed robbery and home invasion at a residence on E. Louisiana Avenue in Hammond on April 12, the local Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff s Office said in a news release on Facebook.
Devin Mitchell, a 26 year-old Hammond resident, died from his injuries.

Five inmates at the Silverdale Jail who were stabbed just after midnight on Saturday called home just beforehand saying they were going into a dangerous situation, family members said.
The sister of one of the prisoners said he told them he thought it would be his last call. He said guards were moving them into a cell with people they did not get along with. He said he knew that one of those in the cell had a shank (homemade knife).
