MORE electric car charging points are set to be installed across Witham after the council secured funding. Braintree District Council announced 16 new electric car charging points will be installed by the end of March to serve 32 vehicles after the council given funding from The Office for Low Emission Vehicles. The £129,000 funding mean new charging points will soon be up and running at three locations in Witham, White Horse Lane Car Park, Newlands Drive and Mill Lane Car Park. One will also be installed at Braintree train station.
