BRIGANTINE, N.J. - Authorities say a Camden County man was killed when a car slammed into the van he was loading Saturday afternoon in Brigantine.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor s Office said the fatal crash happened just after noon on Brigantine Boulevard.
According to police, 54-year-old Hector Salgado was killed when the van he was loading was struck by a Honda Civic driven by 34-year-old Joanna Huynh.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor s Office Crash Investigation Unit is working to determine what caused Huynh s vehicle to slam into the van.

A man was killed during a two-vehicle crash when a pickup truck allegedly turned in front of a motorcycle in the area, according to authorities.
Juan M. Villarreal, age 61, of Rhinebeck and New York City, was killed around 12:15 p.m., Thursday, May 20, during the crash on Route 9G at the intersection of Violet Hill Road in Rhinebeck, said Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff s Office.
A preliminary investigation has revealed that Villarreal was driving a 2019 Ducati motorcycle southbound on Route 9G approaching Violet Hill Road when a 2009 Ford Ranger pickup truck being operated by Jon H. Nansen, age 75, of Clinton Corners made a left-hand turn in front of the motorcycle, said Watterson.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio A motorcyclist is in serious condition after a crash that took place in Franklin County Tuesday evening.
Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Franklin Township Police and Fire personnel, responded to the scene just after 8:50 p.m.
The crash involved a Freightliner Cascadia truck with an attached trailer and a Kawasaki Concourse motorcycle.
The truck was crossing U.S. 62 heading west onto Midland Avenue. The truck stopped in the road to back into a business on Harrisburg Pike. The motorcycle, going south on U.S. 62, collided with the trailer.
