Alamance Sheriff s Office seizes large quantity of pills in recent investigation

On May 10, 2021, members of the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit and Special Operations Unit conducted a traffic stop on a 1994 Ford Explorer at 3539 S NC 87 Hwy. in Graham, NC.  The occupants of the vehicle were identified as John Ferguson and Elizabeth Moody.  The Street Crimes and Special Operations Unit were familiar with Mr. Ferguson and had received information that he was involved in the sale of methamphetamine. Both occupants gave consent to officers to search their vehicle.    During the search, methamphetamine residue, which tested positive in a presumptive field test, was found in a metal canister on a keychain. The vehicle also contained two packages postmarked from Great Britain addressed to Thompson Mill Road in Graham, NC, and two packages that were sealed in USPS bags.

Traffic Stop Leads To Seizure Of Drugs, Gun, Cash A 38-year-old Bend man was arrested on a list of charges after being stopped on Hwy 97 in Terrebonne last Thursday. Dana Johnson had in his possession about 3/4 pound of methamphetamine, 1/2 pound of heroin, a loaded handgun, and more than $7,000 in cash. Johnson also was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender and a warrant for a parole violation. The traffic stop happened after the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit had been investigating Johnson and learned he was returning to the area with possible controlled substances in his possession.

(KTVZ) – An investigation of a Bend man accused of selling drugs in Deschutes County led to a traffic stop near Terrebonne, the man’s arrest and seizure of drugs, cash and a loaded handgun, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said Sunday. The Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit had been investigating the 38-year-old man for drug sales in the county. Detectives learned Thursday that he was returning to the county with possible drugs in his possession, Detective Sergeant Doug Sullivan said.
