This Is Us is finally coming to an end. The series, which has run for five seasons on NBC, will close the curtain on the tale of the Pearson family at the close of Season 6.
It has been long rumored the end of the series would come at that point as its creator Dan Fogelman had long planned to close out its run during the 2021-22 broadcast season.
Sophie, Zoe, and Cassidy, three important ex-loves from Kevin s past, all show up on the most recent episode.
During a meeting with his reps, Kevin walks by a windowed office in the building and sees Zoe on one of the screens. He takes the opportunity to say hello while she’s waiting for a meeting to begin and their exchange is pretty positive until Kevin learns something about himself that he never realized.
Zoe compliments Kevin’s ability to adapt to the people around him, particularly when he’s in a relationship. Although she doesn’t mean any harm, you can tell Kevin begins to question what he knows about himself.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dan Fogelman’s acclaimed drama series
This Is Us starring Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia will officially be concluding its run with the upcoming sixth season. The outlet’s sources note that NBC is currently planning to make an official announcement about the show’s ending this Friday, when they’ll reveal their fall schedule lineup for the upcoming 2021-2022 broadcast season. The series is currently airing its fifth season with the last two episodes set to debut this month.
This Is Us is a refreshingly honest and provocative series that follows a unique ensemble whose paths cross and their life stories intertwine in curious ways. We find several of them share the same birthday, and so much more than anyone would expect.
