June marks the month of Pride, celebrating the LGBTQIA community. Here’s the schedule for UK and USA parades and celebrations in June 2021!
The first month of summer is devoted to the colourful and cheerful LGBTQIA community, celebrating self-affirmation, equality and visibility, celebrating LOVE IS LOVE, being proud of who you are and who you love no matter what.
While the whole month is internationally dedicated to the LGBTQIA community, June 28th marks the significant day of remembering the Stonewall Uprising in 1969, where members of the LGBTQIA community stood up for their rights in response to a police raid in Stonewall Inn, a gay club in Greenwich Village, New York.
