The Pune-based non-banking finance company - Bajaj Finserv - on Wednesday reported net profit of Rs 979 crore in January-March quarter, that marked an increase of 5 times from profit of Rs 194 crore during the same quarter last year. “Pos Malaysia prioritises the wellbeing of our employees and we are pleased to take the initiative by appointing Allianz General to provide extended insurance coverage for Covid-19-related cases and coverage for accidents and hospitalisation, effective Oct 16,2020 for the period of one year, ” he said in a statement.

In broader market, the S&P BSE Mid-Cap index was up 0.78% while the S&P BSE Small-Cap index gained 0.58%.
The market breadth was strong. On the BSE, 1527 shares rose and 1195 shares fell. A total of 142 shares were unchanged.
