CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - A judge set bond on Saturday for a woman facing charges related to a shooting.
Whitni Renee Doctor, 32, is being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center on the charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime according to jail records.
According to court records the charges stem from an incident on Friday, when police responded to a call about a shooting.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A Charleston man received a payout from the South Carolina Insurance Reserve Fund after a lawsuit for what he calls a wrongful arrest.
The lawsuit stems from an incident more than four years ago involving the Charleston Police Department.
A man named Edward Alexander, who has a concealed weapons permit, was arrested and jailed after pulling his weapon to try to break up a fight between a man and a woman.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriffâs Office says two of its deputies who started their tenure under the previous sheriff will not continue under the agencyâs new sheriff.
Sheriff Kristin Graziano took over the sheriffâs office Tuesday and has been swearing in deputies under her administration for the last two days, Capt. Roger Antonio said.
He said Graziano decided not to swear in Chief Deputy Willis Beatty, who has been with the agency since March 1990; and Lt. David Willoughby, who has been with the agency since October 1988.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriffâs Office says a man was arrested early Sunday morning after a crash involving a South Carolina Highway Patrol vehicle.
Rodney Gadson of Goose Creek, is charged with DUI, Capt. Roger Antonio said.
Deputies say Gadson was driving east in the westbound lanes near Cosgrove Avenue just after 5 a.m. Sunday and collided head-on into the trooperâs vehicle.
EMS took Gadson and the two troopers inside the vehicle to an area hospital and all have since been released, Antonio said.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Authorities have arrested a suspect who was wanted for a shooting on I-26 which took the life of one person and injured another.
The Charleston Police Department announced that 22-year-old Kimani Demetrius Pinckney of North Charleston was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals with the support of North Charleston police and the Charleston County Sheriffâs Office.
