PEMBROKE The Renfrew County and District Health Unit is confirming that three staff at Algonquin College Pembroke Campus have tested positive for COVID-19.
Only one of these individuals will be added to the district’s list of confirmed cases, though, because the other two individuals reside in a jurisdiction outside Renfrew County and district, according to a media release on Friday afternoon.

All staff and/or students who have been deemed to be close contacts of the positive cases have been given direction to self-isolate and to arrange for testing. Algonquin College Pembroke Campus remains open for in-person learning and/or operations and has been working with the health unit to continue operating under safety protocols that limit face-to-face services and instruction.
