ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Police say A 15-year-old girl was fatally shot in Albany after a group meeting arranged on social media ended with a confrontation.
Destiny Greene of suburban Latham was at the meeting in the area of Wilbur Street at about 9:30 p.m. Monday with two adults and another minor. Albany Police Chief Eric Hawkins says some kind of confrontation broke out between Greene’s group and two or three young men.

NEW YORK - A 15-year-old girl was fatally shot in Albany, police said.
Officers responded to a report of gunfire on Wilbur Street at about 9:30 p.m. Monday, Albany police said in a news release.
Shortly after, a staff member at Albany Memorial Hospital notified police that Destiny Greene, 15, of suburban Latham, had been brought to the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

ALBANY A 17-year-old was shot Monday evening on Lark Street.
Police were called for reports of shots fired around 5:10 p.m. near Lark and First streets. Shortly after that, Albany Memorial Hospital staff called police to say a 17-year-old had come to the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his leg. Police believe the teen was shot near Lark and First streets. His injuries are not life-threatening.
