Albany plans new bus terminal, airport improvements

ALBANY, Ga. (AP) Southwest Georgia s largest city will be getting a new bus station and new additions to its airport.
Albany Transportation Director David Hamilton tells WALB-TV that the Albany Transit System and intercity buses will share a new terminal downtown expected to be completed by June 2022.
At Southwest Georgia Regional Airport, city officials plan a new general aviation facility and a new storage hangar. That will add space for bigger aircraft.
The airport project will be completed in two phases. It will be paid for with federal and state grants
