Buffalo, MN (KROC-AM News) - The police chief in Buffalo Minnesota says investigators do not have any information that indicates domestic terrorism was involved in today s mass shooting.
Chief Pat Budke, who spoke at an afternoon news conference, says five people were shot and wounded at an Allina Health Clinic in the central Minnesota city this morning. He says officers responded to the clinic after receiving reports of a shooting just before 11 AM and found the victims along with the suspect, who has been identified as 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich.

One person was killed and many more injured and a suspect was taken into custody following a shooting at a health clinic in Minnesota on Tuesday morning. Buffalo Police Chief Pat Budke said during a press conference that Police received a call of shots fired at the Allina Health clinic in Buffalo, Minn., about 40 miles northwest of Minneapolis, before 11 a.m. where they found the victims and the suspect. Five people were taken to area hospitals, including three who were in critical but stable condition.
Officers found a suspicious package in a corner of the lobby during a search of the area conducted after the suspect was apprehended. Authorities also evacuated and investigated the Buffalo Super 8 Motel, where the suspect was staying, and found additional suspicious devices. Police identified the suspect as Gregory Paul Ulrich, 67, of Buffalo, and said they had received “several calls” related to Ulrich dating back to 2003.

One of the five people injured in a shooting inside Allina Health Clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota has died, according to local NBC affiliate Kare11. The victim has not yet been identified. One person has been discharged from the hospital and three others are in critical, but stable, condition, the report said.
Police did not say whether the victims were physicians, nurses, other employees or patients inside the facility.
The alleged shooter, Gregory Paul Ulrich, 67, of Buffalo, was taken into custody.
Ulrich is well known to police as having a history of calls for service going back to 2003, according to Buffalo Police Chief Pat Budke.
