Gregory Ulrich has been charged with second-degree murder and four counts of attempted murder after being accused of walking into the Allina Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo and opening fire on employees.
An update to the case is being provided at 11:30 a.m. in the Wright County Justice Center, with Sheriff Sean Deringer and County Attorney Brian L. Lutes scheduled to speak to reporters. You can watch the news conference live here:
A criminal complaint details the minutes that passed between the time Ulrich walked into the clinic at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday and the time he called 911 at 10:58 a.m. telling police to back off so he could surrender. During those six minutes, he targeted Allina employees with a handgun and set up two explosive devices, charges say.

Gregory Paul Ulrich, 67, from Buffalo, was arrested and is currently being held in the Wright County Jail
Ulrich allegedly entered the Allina Health Clinic on Crossroads Campus Drive in Wright County late Tuesday morning and opened fire
At least five people were wounded and one died
The conditions of the four other victims is still not known and authorities have not confirmed if they are staff or patients
Brother Richard Ulrich said Gregory had been prescribed opioids after a back surgery and had become dependent on them

BUFFALO, Minn. A spokesperson with Hennepin Healthcare confirmed that one of the people injured in Tuesday s shooting at a health clinic in Buffalo has died. The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to HCMC where they later died.
North Memorial Health said four of the Buffalo shooting victims were taken to North Memorial Hospital. A hospital spokesperson said one of the victims had been discharged by Tuesday afternoon, while three others are in critical, but stable, condition.
