Police: No signs of foul play in case of skeletal remains
SAUGATUCK TWP. The Allegan County Sheriff s Office is waiting for answers to the identity of a set of skeletal human remains found by hunters in Saugatuck Township on Sunday.
Although the cause of death is unknown and the case is under investigation, the sheriff s office has no reason to suspect foul play at this stage of the investigation, according to Lt. Brett Ensfield of the Allegan County Sheriff s Office. We didn t see anything indicative of that, Ensfield said.
The remains were found, uncovered, in a wooded area several hundred yards from the intersection of 63rd Street and 134th Avenue by a group of hunters, who notified police.

SAUGATUCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. â Hunters found human skeletal remains Sunday in Saugatuck Township and reported them to the Allegan County Sheriffâs Office, according to a news release Monday.
They were found near 63rd Street and 134th Avenue.
The sheriffâs office recovered the remains Monday with help from Western Michigan School of Medicineâs Forensic Anthropology Unit.
As of Monday afternoon, the remains havenât been identified and a cause of death hasnât been determined yet.

SAUGATUCK TWP. Unidentified human remains were found by hunters in Saugatuck Township on Sunday, March 7, the Allegan County Sheriff s Office announced.
The hunters found the skeletal remains while hunting near 63rd Street and 134th Avenue in Saugatuck Township, the sheriff s office said.
On Monday, the sheriff s office and the Western Michigan School of Medicine’s Forensic Anthropology Unit removed the remains.
The remains have not yet been identified and the cause of death has not been determined, the sheriff s office said.
