Police investigating after man caused a disturbance at a Dundee mental health unit

Police are investigating after a man caused a disturbance at a mental health facility in Dundee.
NHS Tayside confirmed an official report had been made to Police Scotland following an incident at the Alloway Centre on March 25.
The Alloway Centre, in Alloway Place, houses the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) for the east of Dundee.

It is understood the perpetrator was buzzed into the centre for an appointment before causing the disturbance, with his behaviour upsetting staff who contacted the authorities.
Singing legend Sydney Devine has been laid to rest today. Ahead of his funeral, which took place in Ayr today, Devine s family said it was “a comfort to know just how much our dad was loved by many people” after the showman’s death. Earlier this month Iain Gordon – manager of Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre where Mr Devine regularly performed – announced the 81-year-old had died. The entertainer, from Cleland, North Lanarkshire, had been admitted to University Hospital in Ayr with an unknown illness. In a statement on a Facebook fan page – Sydney Devine Country – the family thanked fans for their messages and explained today s funeral would be scaled back to meet Covid-19 requirements.
