Lil Nas X suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction during his Saturday Night Live performance on Saturday (May 22nd). During his performance of "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)," Lil Nas X's leather pants ripped during his pole routine. Although he looked completely shocked, he covered his crotch and kept performing. He later tweeted about the mishap, "i know i do a lot of planned sh t but ripping my pants on live television is not one of them." He added, "everything happens for a reason tho lol." He also explained some last minute drama surrounding his performance, saying, "at first i was afraid to even perform. then we rehearsed for 2 weeks, then all of the dancers got removed because one had covid and new ones had to learn the routine in 24 hours, and then i ended up ripping my pants and couldn't finish. everything happens for a reason tho lol."
