Half the world might have been watching Eurovision last night, but a memorable music moment happened closer to home. During his guest appearance on
Saturday Night Live, Lil Nas X took to the stage to perform his track Montero (Call Me By Your Name) and ended up accidentally nearly exposing himself on national television when his pants split open at the crotch during a pole-dance interlude.
It happened towards the end of what was already a risqué performance; dressed a black leather outfit which showed off his ripped abs, the singer was surrounded by an equally scantily-clad cohort of all-male backing dancers, one of whom licked his face and neck at one point in the number.

“SNL” welcomed enigmatic pop star Lil Nas X to the show for his debut as musical guest. The social media-savvy rapper, who shot to fame with “Old Town Road,” performed two songs from his upcoming album “Montero, including the recently released Sun Goes Down.
Instead of
SNL actor Chris Redd (who played Lil Nas X) grinding on Satan’s lap, he gave God a lap dance instead. They also weaved Lil Nas X’s inflammatory “Satan Shoes” and subsequent Nike lawsuit into the skit.
Naturally, Twitter erupted with reactions to the wardrobe malfunction on the latest
SNL episode and compared it to Janet Jackson’s infamous nipple slip during 2004’s Super Bowl XXXVIII. Even
SNL vet Ana Gasteyer weighed in with an embarrassing moment of her own.
