Deadline.
Armie is not involved in the project.
Now, more reports about the film have been released and we’ve learned the movie is based on the novel by

THR reports that the story follows “Maren Yearly on a cross-country trip as she searches for the father she’s never met in an attempt to understand why she has the urge to kill and eat the people that love her.”
If you’ve been following what has been reported about
Armie in the last few weeks, you’ll know that he has been accused of fetishizing cannibalism in messages that he allegedly sent to women on Instagram. In the first screencaps that went viral earlier this month, he reportedly said “I am 100% a cannibal.”
