Medtronic Expands Limited Release of Its Rist Neurovascular Radial Access Portfolio Created with Sketch. February 1, 2021 Medtronic announced expansion of its limited site release of the recently acquired radial artery access portfolio from Rist Neurovascular, Inc., which includes the Rist 079 radial access guide catheter and Rist radial access selective catheter. The acquisition of the privately held Rist Neurovascular closed in August 2020. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. R. Webster Crowley, MD, performed the first-in-patient procedure in September 2020 with the Rist 079 device.
