A case of COVID-19 is being confirmed at one McDonald’s location in Trenton – Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says the person who tested positive, worked at the 18 Monogram Place location last week – Dec. 7 to 11 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Store management decided to close the location, so the building could be cleaned by a certified third-party (all staff with possible workplace exposure have been advised to remain at home, until the health unit completed contact tracing and the investigation.) HPEPH says the risk of the public is low – The health unit will advise all high-risk contacts (once identified,) to get tested and self-isolate for 14 days.

A Hastings County plan to provide voluntary COVID-19 isolation spaces needs federal funding to help protect vulnerable people, area committee members have learned.
Wednesday’s meeting of the county’s community and human services committee included a report on the plan and a possible request for federal dollars.
