St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two Rochester residents wanted on charges connected to the rioting in the Twin Cities last May have been apprehended in Mexico.
A news release from the US Attorney for Minnesota says
34-year-old José Angel Felan Jr. and 22-year-old Mena Yousif were detained in Mexico on Monday after the US Marshals Service located them and notified Mexican authorities. Both have since been brought back to the United States and made initial appearances before a federal judge in California yesterday.
“Thanks to the skilled investigative work of the ATF and the tireless apprehension efforts of the U.S. Marshals Service these two defendants, who have been on the run for more than eight months, will be returned to Minnesota to face justice,” said U.S. Attorney Erica H. MacDonald.
