A dog has died after being involved in a hit and run in Bristol.
The Jack Russell passed away after being hit by a car, the driver of which failed to stop.
It happened at about 11am on Monday, April 26 in Bishport Avenue in the Hartcliffe area of Bristol.

There is currently a large police presence ongoing outside the Salvation Army on Dean Lane.
A police spokesman said officers are in attendance to arrest people wanted in connection with criminality linked to the properties on High Street.
He said the arrests made so far today are for offences including affray and assault on an emergency worker, adding they are not there to carry out an eviction.
About 40 police officers and several police vehicles are currently at the scene, together with at least one ambulance.
