A baby girl has died after being rushed to Bristol Children s Hospital this morning (Monday).
Police are treating the death as unexplained , and officers don’t believe there to be any suspicious circumstance at this stage .
Nearby residents reported an emergency services presence in the Barton Hill area at around 8am, with police and ambulance crews at the scene.
It has now been confirmed that officers attended to assist paramedics, who had been called to treat a baby girl at a property on Granville Street.

Police and ambulance crews have rushed to to a medical incident on a North Somerset route.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Belmont Hill in Wraxall shortly after 10.30am today (April 26).
The scene was located just off the B3031 Bristol Road, a road which connects Bristol to Nailsea.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following an incident at Bristol Harbourside in which another teenager was stabbed in the leg.
The assault happened in Explore Lane at just after 8.30pm on Saturday (April 24).
A 15-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and remains in police custody.
