The A4 between Sylvan Way in Sea Mills, near Shirehampton Park, was closed to Bridge Valley Road, near the Clifton Suspension Bridge., this morning. Avon and Somerset Constabulary reported the road closure at 1.55am this morning (February 22) In an update police said the road had reopened at 2.58am. A spokesperson has since confirmed the closure was due to a concern for welfare .
