The 911 Public Safety Communications Office in Seneca County & the Ontario County Sheriffs Department released joint statements around 3:00 am this morning, confirming that the AT&T related network issues were resolved, and that 911 services were working properly again.
“The Ontario County 911 Center has received notification that the AT&T network issues that were effecting Ontario County have been corrected. Regular AT&T wireless services have been restored.”

On December 19th at 10:26 p.m. the City of Canandaigua Police Department responded to 99 Phoenix Street for the report of a fight in progress at the location.
Upon arrival, officers found 50-year-old Anthony Gray of Canandaigua unconscious and unresponsive as a result of the fight. Officers and First Responders resuscitated the victim at the scene and he was subsequently transported by ambulance to F.F. Thompson Hospital where he died a short time after arrival.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a Geneva man is in custody after a search warrant was executed on Genesis Way in the town of Geneva on Thursday.
Kyejuan Smallwood, 28, of Geneva was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, which is a Class C felony following an investigation.
Sheriff Kevin Henderson says an investigation was conducted by his office’s Special Investigations Unit, as well as the Geneva PD’s Drug Enforcement Unit after receiving information that Smallwood was selling crack cocaine from another person’s apartment on Genesis Way.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation of a two-car personal injury crash at the intersection of Freshour and Taylor roads in the town of Hopewell.
It happened on Sunday around 11 a.m.
Deputies say Ricky Rodas, 58, of Manchester was traveling west on Taylor Road when he failed to stop at the intersection with Freshour Road and continued through it.
