Ontario Premier Doug Ford was already having a bad spring when it came to his government’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis, but then came the week from hell.
It began with terrifying modelling projections and hugely controversial measures to contain the virus, devolved into public backlash and policy flip-flops, and ended with a tearful apology given by Ford from isolation due to an aide testing positive.
