The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is currently seeking the whereabouts of two family members who were reported missing this morning.
Lula Wise, 87, of St. Augustine, and her great-granddaughter, Asia Myers, 5, were missing from the family home. Wise s vehicle, a dark colored 2019 Hyundai Sonata, bearing Florida Tag NAJJ74, was also missing.
The pair may have left the residence overnight, and deputies are seeking any information regarding possible contacts or sightings. The Sheriff s Office later received video images showing them making a purchase in a store about 4 a.m. on Philips Highway in Jacksonville.
The latest information police had by mid-afternoon Thursday, according to St. Johns County Sheriff spokesman Chuck Mulligan, was that the pair may have been sighted in a location off Interstate-95 somewhere in Georgia, according to Mulligan.
England chosen for second term as St. Augustine Beach mayor

The City of St. Augustine Beach elected its mayor and vice mayor and swore in two commissioners at Monday’s Commission meeting.
Margaret England, who has served as mayor for the last year, was elected to serve for another year.
“I am humbled and honored to serve another year as mayor of St Augustine Beach with such a great team of commissioners, professional staff, and interested, engaged residents, she said in a press release.
Don Samora who has served on the Commission for three years, was elected as vice mayor for the fourth year.
