‘Active shooter’identified, jailed RENOVO – State police have identified and charged the “active shooter” who fired shots throughout the borough of Renovo Tuesday morning, causing police to issue a shelter in place advisory for residents. Gene Eaton, 44, of Renovo, has been charged with Discharge of a Firearm into Occupied Structure and Firearms Not to be Carried without a License, both felony 3 charges, and misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Eaton was arraigned before Dist. Judge Frank Mills who set bail at $350,000. Unable to post bail, Eaton was transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.

From Staff Reports RENOVO State police have identified and charged the “active shooter” who fired shots throughout the borough of Renovo Tuesday morning, causing police to issue a shelter in place advisory for residents. Gene Eaton, 44, of Renovo, has been charged with Discharge of a Firearm into Occupied Structure and Firearms Not to be Carried without a License, both felony 3 charges, and misdemeanor charges of recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. Eaton was arraigned before Dist. Judge Frank Mills who set bail at $350,000. Unable to post bail, Eaton was transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility. Tuesday’s incident began at about 7:50 a.m. when multiple state and local police responded to reports of a white male firing a handgun in the street of Renovo.

Two arrested for stealing packages from people s porches

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Kalamazoo Trail on Feb. 9 in reference to a larceny. The victim told deputies that she had Ring video surveillance of a woman, later identified as Kimberly Dowdy, 26, stealing packages from her front door.  Kimberly Dowdy. The victim showed deputies video captured on her Ring video surveillance that again showed Dowdy walk up to the home and steal packages. However, this time, deputies were able to identify Dowdy’s vehicle, a gold Cadillac.

Cheyenne man arrested after alleged machete attack By John Roedel on January 12, 2021 Jay C, Allen (Courtesy of the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office) CHEYENNE, Wyo. – A 53-year-old man was arrested by the Cheyenne Police Department after it was alleged that he attacked and subsequently injured another person with a 24-inch machete. Paperwork filed in Laramie County Circuit Court says that on November 29th, 2020, officers with the Cheyenne Police Department responded to a 911 hang-up and disturbance call at a residence in Cheyenne. According to an affidavit of probable cause filed in the case, officers say that when they arrived on scene they made contact with an accuser who alleged that Jay Allen had attacked them with a machete after breaking down the door of their residence.

Man arrested for New Year s Eve shooting had previous warrant for similar incident

    CHAMBERSBURG, Pennsylvania (WPMT) The man arrested for a New Year’s Eve shooting in Chambersburg already had a warrant for a shooting incident in July of last year. Chambersburg Police were called to 987 Wayne Ave. Thursday at around 8:07 p.m. for a reported shooting. Officers learned that a man had been shot and was no longer present at the home. Witnesses told police the victim left as the passenger in a dark-colored sedan. They also said the suspects fled in a Ford SUV, silver or gray in color. The victim was dropped off at Chambersburg Hospital and then flown by helicopter to a trauma center for further treatment. Investigators discovered three vehicles, two occupied, one unoccupied, and two business exterior walls were struck by bullets during the shooting. No one in the occupied vehicles was injured.
