‘Attack on UN vehicle an attempt to keep world body away from Kashmir’
India is trying to frighten UNMOGIP to prevent them from observing its ceasefire violations, says AJK president

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan has censured the Indian troops for attacking a UN vehicle on the Pakistani side of Line of Control (LoC), describing it a “crude attempt” to divert attention from human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
“We condemn Indian aggressive action to target a UN vehicle on this side of Line of Control by Indian forces. It is a crude attempt to hide its crimes in IIOJK and to divert attention from what’s happening in IIOJK and at LoC. India has lost credibility. Such manoeuvres won’t work,” President Masood said in a tweet on Saturday.

MUZAFFARABAD: In yet another brazen act of ceasefire violation, Indian army on Friday morning “deliberately” fired upon a United Nations (UN) vehicle carrying two military observers on a routine monitoring mission along the restive Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), officials said.
Fortunately, they added, no member of the observers group was hurt but the white vehicle hoisting the blue UN flag was damaged in the ‘targeted’ attack.
The “reprehensible act” prompted strong condemnation by Pakistan, with Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri describing it as an indication of a “new low” in the conduct of Indian occupation troops.

MUZAFFARGARH: The Social Welfare Department disclosed on Tuesday that 18 amongst 190 children were sexually abused after kidnapping across south Punjab region in six months.
According to the report, filed about human rights violations, a total of 140 children were abducted during March to August of 2020 from different under-developed districts of the region.
Social Welfare and Baitul Maal Deputy Director Shoeb Raza told a seminar that the violations must set alarm bells ringing for all concerned. About ongoing human rights violations in the Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he censured Indian government as it had unleashed torture against the innocent people of the valley through its army. He pledged to protect identity and respect of everybody irrespective of his or her religion, caste or creed.
