Palestinian mothers with their vibrant history of resistance to the occupation should be placed at the forefront of the movement to liberate Palestine. It is, after all, Palestinian mothers who routinely endure and confront the brutality of Israeli oppression while raising, protecting and educating their children. We should affirm the vital contributions made by mothers like those living in Nabi Saleh, Palestine, who continue to defy and resist settler colonial violence.
Their commitment to the liberation of Palestine should be viewed as a feminist and reproductive justice issue.

Permanent Observer for the State of Palestine to the United Nations Riyad Mansour has stressed the need for the international community to reject Israel’s vicious attempts to taint criticism of its crimes across the occupied territories.
In a letter addressed to the UN secretary-general, the head of the UN Security Council and the president of the UN General Assembly, Mansour wrote that Israel has been sparing no effort to demonize the rights groups which expose Israeli crimes, Wafa news agency reported.
“The situation in Occupied Palestine continues to worsen as Israel intensifies its human rights violations and war crimes against the Palestinian people,” said Mansour.

Programs, held from April 26-30 virtually this year, included webinars titled “Healthcare Injustices in Palestine and the COVID-19 Pandemic,” and “Divestment as a Historical Tool for Justice,” which was a discussion with Harvard Professor Cornel West, a supporter of BDS, and BDS movement co-founder Omar Barghouti.

Palestine’s UN Observer: International community must reject Israel’s attempts to taint legitimate criticism of its crimes
NEW YORK, Wednesday, May 05, 2021 (WAFA) - Palestine s Permanent Observer to the United Nations, Riyad Mansour, stressed the need for the international community to reject Israel’s attempts to taint legitimate criticism of its crimes by delegitimizing human rights groups and even delegitimizing the real accounts of human suffering on the ground.
Mansour sent today three identical letters to the UN Secretary-General, President of the UN Security Council (China), and President of the UN General Assembly, briefing them on the critical situation in the occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. “The situation in Occupied Palestine continues to worsen as Israel intensifies its human rights violations and war crimes against the Palestinian people,” said Mansour.
